Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, lobbies, loading areas, and other key areas of the property, assisting with visitor access, after-hours activity, and/or policy compliance.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, recording incidents, and communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, coworkers, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
