Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Readiness at a government location in Seattle, WA. In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.

Qualifications

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Requirements

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
