As a Security Officer Patrol Compliance in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Job Schedule: DayTime: Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities throughout the hotel location.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, hallways, guest access areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to control access, observe for policy violations, and/or report maintenance or security-related concerns.
- Support hotel operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and/or providing a professional presence during high-traffic periods, special events, or after-hours activity.
Requirements
- Security-related experience of 1+ years is required.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
