Security Officer Patrol Enforcement
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor credentials, and follow site protocols for entry, exit, and restricted areas.
- Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns, observing delivery activity, and sharing timely updates on security-related matters with site leadership and/or emergency responders.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
