Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, completing incident reports, and assisting with security-related procedures during shifts where conditions and responsibilities may vary.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
