Security Officer Patrol Operations

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Warren, OH, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating relevant information to supervisors and emergency responders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
