About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location in Lenoir, NC. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and documentation procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
