As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour
- Schedule: Tuesday 07:00 AM – 02:30 PM; Sunday 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, helping to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
