Security Officer Patrol Incident Observer

Job Description

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Support continuity of utility operations by reporting security-related concerns, equipment issues, and facility conditions to appropriate site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
