What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas, verifying credentials and reporting access concerns in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
- Support security-related operations by preparing reports, maintaining activity logs, and communicating observations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
