As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Observer in Henderson, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a freight and distribution location.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of shipping areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact the appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Document patrol activity, access issues, incidents, and unusual conditions through accurate logs and reports.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses required may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
- A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions only.
