Security Officer Patrol Driver with TWIC
About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver with TWIC in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout industrial facilities, exterior areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry procedures.
- Support day-to-day operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by communicating clearly with site personnel and following post orders related to security-related duties.
Requirements
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
