What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to supervisors, employees, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized access, identify potential issues, and report concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Support security-related operations within an industrial location by remaining aware of restricted areas, following post orders, and reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
