Security Officer TWIC Patrol Driver
About the role
As a Security Officer TWIC Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Our Security Officers at this utility location conduct routine unarmed patrols and driving patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
- Support emergency and non-routine situations by communicating with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership while following post orders and location protocols.
Requirements
- A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
