Security Officer Patrol Driver Security Clearance

About the role

Join Allied Universal in a dynamic aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related duties appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report access irregularities or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following post orders and assisting with orderly communication and/or directional guidance during critical situations.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Preferred skills include:

• CPR certification.
• Customer service experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
