About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Response in Gardena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, trailers, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
- Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while working collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
