Security Officer Patrol Driver Response

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and report hazards, disturbances, and/or policy violations.
• Support healthcare operations by assisting with directions, escort requests, and other security-related duties while maintaining professionalism and attention to site protocols.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
