About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver at Allied Universal in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, amenity spaces, and/or visitor activity while communicating with residents, guests, and property management regarding security-related issues and site procedures.
• Support property rules and community standards by reporting maintenance concerns, unsecured doors, lighting issues, and/or other unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
