About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide courteous service to residents and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork, clear communication, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential neighborhoods, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
- Monitor access points and community activity, verify visitor or contractor authorization when applicable, and document observations and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
- Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed.
Requirements
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Monday: 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM
- Tuesday: 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM
- Saturday: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM
- Sunday: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM
