About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a residential community in Irvine, CA. You will drive patrol routes, conduct routine inspections, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide responsive customer service to residents and visitors. Through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity, you will help maintain a welcoming environment while representing our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols throughout residential neighborhoods, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe community activity, reporting suspicious conditions, property concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Provide directions and assistance to residents and visitors while maintaining a professional presence throughout the community.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay and Schedule

Part Time / Overnight Shift. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour. Schedule: Thursday and Friday, 01:00 AM - 09:30 AM.
