Security Officer - Patrol Driver

About the Role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Point Pleasant, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding security-related observations and incidents.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

• Schedule: Daytime, Monday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Friday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Saturday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM, Sunday 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
