Security Officer - Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Columbus, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values through teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and verify entry authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred
• CPR certification is preferred

Schedule

• Day Time: Wednesday through Sunday, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
