Security Officer - Patrol Driver

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a logistics location in Chantilly, VA, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post includes conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, communicating professionally with employees and visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service. The position is part-time with a flexible schedule, allowing you to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

At this site, working environments and conditions may vary, and there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and perimeter.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (for driving positions only).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Access control and badge experience.

Pay

$22.00 / hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
