Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

As an unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver in Pineland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support site operations with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious behavior, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support site operations by observing equipment yards, shipping and receiving areas, and/or restricted spaces for security-related concerns, while maintaining a professional presence and following post orders.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.75 / hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Day shift: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Monday through Friday
