What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or other security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Support daily operations by reporting hazards, equipment issues, and/or operational disruptions that could impact the location, while following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- A New York State Security Guard License is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
