Security Officer Patrol Driver
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access as directed, and support badge and credential checks in line with site policies.
- Complete routine reports and communicate clearly with supervisors and/or client representatives regarding incidents, policy questions, and daily activity at the location.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills
- Security-related experience.
- Driver’s license.
- Loss prevention experience (preferred).
- Computer or tablet proficiency (preferred).
