Security Officer Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Johnson City, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate site representatives.
• Support closing, opening, and after-hours routines as assigned, including checking designated areas and assisting with customer-facing security-related presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
