Security Officer Patrol Documentation Specialist

As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation Specialist in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, dock doors, warehouses, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for staff, visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and document security-related incidents or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed, and assisting with traffic flow, gate activity, and other security-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Computer skills (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Alarm panel experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
