What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership, medical personnel, and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help support authorized access, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities while communicating clearly with supervisors, staff, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
