In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
- Support a professional environment at a technology-focused location by providing directions, answering routine questions, and assisting with security-related requests from authorized personnel.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Qualifications
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $19.32 / Hour
Schedule: Day Time, Monday 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Wednesday 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Thursday 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Friday 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Saturday 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
