About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting information through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for personnel and/or visitors, and support traffic flow for deliveries, trailers, and facility operations.
• Assist with security-related checks of gates, doors, trailers, and exterior areas, while remaining alert to operational disruptions, damaged property, and/or policy violations.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
