As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Assistance in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorization when required, and reporting unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Support daily residential operations by assisting with routine inquiries, communicating with property personnel, and following post orders related to after-hours activity, deliveries, and visitor interactions.

Requirements

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, guests, and staff.
  • Basic computer skills for accessing and claiming shifts.
