Security Officer Customer Service Patrol

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, with a focus on de-escalation and respectful communication in a shelter environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, hallways, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
- Monitor access to the location by observing visitor activity, checking authorized entry points, and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Document incidents, policy violations, and daily activities in written reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or location personnel.
Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be willing to undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
