What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailers, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and/or vendors entering and exiting the location in accordance with site protocols, and communicate clearly with personnel regarding security-related questions or directions.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by observing busy traffic areas, checking for restricted access concerns, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
