Security Officer - Patrol Credential Control

As a Security Officer – Patrol Credential Control in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries. This unarmed patrol position involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, supporting access control, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security‑related concerns, document observations, and work collaboratively to uphold a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.00 per hour (Full‑time position).

Schedule

• Monday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Tuesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
