Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, document observations and/or incidents, and report maintenance, lighting, or property concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations at the location by following post orders, assisting with directions and general information, and maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned areas.

Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
