Security Officer Patrol Access Support

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Support in Coconut Grove, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or access issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe visitor and/or vendor activity, and assist with documenting deliveries, incidents, and other property-related observations as directed.
• Support residential property operations by communicating with residents and management, relaying important information, and helping to address security-related situations with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.
