About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Verifier in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Your responsibilities include providing customer service, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and supporting closing and opening routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor foot traffic, access points, and/or merchandise-sensitive areas for unusual activity, and report issues according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support closing, opening, and/or after-hours routines as assigned, including checking doors, gates, and other access control points throughout the location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
