Security Officer Patrol Concierge

About the Role

As a Security Officer Patrol Concierge in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and community amenities, check for policy violations, and communicate with residents, visitors, and/or management regarding security-related concerns.
• Support a professional living environment by documenting daily activities, assisting with routine requests, and reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or unauthorized persons.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Skills

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

• Schedule: Wednesday 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM, Thursday 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM, Friday 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM, Saturday 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
