About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Federal Way, WA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related needs with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including exterior areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe facility activity, reporting suspicious conditions, policy concerns, hazards, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal policies.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
