Security Officer Patrol Assessment Full Time

Overview

The role is a Full‑Time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Smyrna, TN, responsible for routine patrols, visible presence, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery driver sign‑in procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity per site requirements and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements required by state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.45 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime, Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
