Security Officer Full Time Patrol Assessment

About the role

As a Full Time Patrol Security Officer in Saint Peters, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This role supports a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service, clear communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution facility buildings, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and patrol findings in required logs and reports.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
