As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to riders, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Requirements

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Baton certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime, Wednesday to Saturday, 05:00 AM - 03:00 PM
