About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Access and Badging in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity through the appropriate channels.
  • Support site operations by following Allied Universal post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Alarm panel experience.
  • Access control and badge experience.
