As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness while delivering outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials and/or visitor records, and report delivery, trailer, or gate-related concerns in accordance with site instructions.
  • Support daily operations by observing truck traffic, employee and visitor movement, and/or restricted areas, then reporting policy concerns, maintenance issues, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
