Responsibilities

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver outstanding customer service.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• This is primarily a driving post.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
