As a Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help maintain orderly operations and assist with security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• A guard card/license is preferred.

DayTime: Thursday 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Friday 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
