About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted areas, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Document incidents and patrol findings accurately and coordinate with healthcare staff, Allied Universal personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
