As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Hattiesburg, MS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

$12.50 / Hour

Schedule

Friday: 02:15 PM - 12:30 AM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual conditions according to site-specific procedures.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
