About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic cruise operations location in Cape Canaveral, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, crew, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, crew members, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a cruise operations location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, embarkation areas, gangways, parking areas, restricted-access points, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, hazards, and other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site management and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
